Dwayne Haskins was one of the players to hit the podium Wednesday for the Washington Redskins.
Naturally, two big talking points came up — the selfie and the wrist.
On the now-infamous selfie, Haskins simply said “it was an honest mistake. It will never happen again,” according to JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington. With any luck, that neatly wraps a bow on the whole ordeal and everybody can move on from it.
More importantly, Haskins confirmed the whispers about wrist discomfort that impacted some of his throws during the team’s win over the weekend.
In doing so, Haskins noted the issue won’t have an impact on this weekend’s game:
Haskins says some of the inaccuracy Sunday was definitely the wrist because he wasn’t gripping the ball like he normally did. Said it’s fine and it won’t affect him against Carolina.

Haskins has a chance to prove everything is moving ahead as planned against the Panthers.
