Going into the 2020 NFL season, many of the Washington Redskins faithful fans are expecting quarterback Dwayne Haskins to take a big step forward as far as production goes, and some believe that he can actually lead the team to a few wins here and there if all goes right as well.
That’s a fair assumption and a hope that isn’t too wild to dream of, but when ranking the current quarterbacks in the NFL, based solely on past performances, it’s still a dire sight when it comes to Haskins. NBC Sports analyst Chris Simms recently ranked the top 40 quarterbacks in the NFL, and Haskins fell way down near the bottom, landing at No. 39, behind guys like Mitch Trubisky. The only QB that Haskins is ahead of on the list is rookie Tua Tagovailoa.
3⃣9⃣ Dwayne Haskins
Really don't know how to sum up his rookie season. Some nice moments and throws that make you see why he was a 1st rd pick. Others where you shake your head and realize how raw of a talent he still is. Big Q about how new staff will embrace him#SimmsTop40QB

It may hurt to see Haskins so low on the list, but it’s hard to argue when his best is yet to come. In 2019, he had a tough start to his career, but there is hope that the future will be better.
