"He's an example on and off the field of what it is supposed to look like. How to work and someone to look up to especially in the locker room."

Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins hit the red carpet at the NFL Honors over the weekend and touched on a lot of topics during interviews.
One of the biggest points centered on running back Adrian Peterson — this year’s winner of the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.
As seen in the tweet above from the team, Haskins had nothing short of big praise.
“He’s an example on and off the field of what it is supposed to look like. How to work and someone to look up to especially in the locker room.”
Haskins touched on a few other topics too, but it’s clear by the way he talks about Peterson that the veteran running back’s value to the locker room goes far beyond simply on-field contributions.
And the Redskins figure to turn to Peterson again in a big way in 2020, where Haskins will try to lead a new-look offense under the supervision of Ron Rivera.
