Dwayne Haskins is in favor of ‘Redtails’ name if Washington chooses to change

While many have thrown out their ideas for a new name in Washington, Haskins said on social media that he is a fan of the Redtails.

Ever since the Washington Redskins announced on Friday morning that they would be ‘thoroughly reviewing’ the team name in the coming days, fans from all around the NFL have made their voices heard about what the name should be.

A few of the most popular choices have been narrowed down to Redhawks, Warriors, Braves, Generals, Sentinels, and Redtails. If you were to ask quarterback Dwayne Haskins his preference, he’d gave an answer for you.

The Redtails has a cool history behind it, as one person pointed out on social media.

Whatever the name ends up being, it feels increasingly obvious that a change will take place, and likely sometime soon.
