Duke football’s quarterback of the future spent some time on campus this weekend.
Dan Mahan, a three-star prospect from Burlington, North Carolina, took an official visit with the Blue Devils. The Walter M. Williams High School product, who committed to Duke back in April, shared some photos of himself in uniform for Blue Devils fans.
“What a weekend!!,” Mahan wrote in one of his two social media posts. “So blessed to be around such special people! (Duke Football) and Durham never disappoints!”
The Blue Devils hosted a dozen recruits this weekend, their second official visit weekend in a row. After two commitments for Manny Diaz last week, Mahan teased that he may have picked up some new teammates this time.
“Some great news on the way too,” Mahan wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
As of Sunday afternoon, the Blue Devils have 12 total commitments for the 2025 class, including three offensive players.
