Duke guard DJ Steward reportedly received an invitation to participate in the NBA draft combine scheduled to take place later this month, according to JD Shaw of HoopsRumors.com.

Steward was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team after averaging 13 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals with the Blue Devils. He led all ACC freshmen in scoring, totaling 312 points in 24 games across the season.

The 6-foot-2 product announced on April 1 that he would declare for the draft with the intent to sign with an agent. He is projected to be a late second-round pick by some mock drafts and can improve that standing with a strong showing in the combine.

The NBA announced in March the combine will return to Chicago and take place June 21-27. The league intends to invite around 100 prospects to take part in the draft combine and NBA G League Elite Camp, which will run June 19-21 in Chicago.

The draft is set to take place on July 29.
