Duke got sent to the West region as a No. 2 seed in men’s March Madness, fans were shocked

They’ll be far from home!

Coach K’s final men’s NCAA tournament is going to start far away from home.

Duke will be a No. 2 seed in 2022 March Madness … but they’re going to start in the West region, starting out against Cal-State Fullerton. It’s probably a game they can win.

But looming could be a matchup against No. 7 Michigan State if the Spartans beat No. 10 Davidson in their first-round game. And Gonzaga is the top seed in the region. Also: People were angry Tennessee was a No. 3 behind the Blue Devils.

That’s quite a lot on Mike Krzyzewski’s plate in what’s set to be his last tourney. And of course college hoops fans were shocked about that on Selection Sunday:
