Duke football shared a short video of star defensive back Chandler Rivers touring his new locker on Monday, and it’s clear the renovation prioritized storage space for the student-athletes.
Rivers broke down all of the hidden compartments in his unit, and every time you thought you’d seen the last one, he opened up another spot.
The nameplate above the locker shows Rivers’ name, face, and signature, but it’s not just for decoration. The Blue Devils star swung it open to reveal a spot for his shoulder pads, complete with vents to cool them down after a hot practice or game.
The same vents sit under the helmets, which get stored right below the top compartment. Each locker comes complete with a cushioned blue chair, but Rivers revealed that it actually opens up for even more storage space and a spot to hang his clothes.
There’s even a cubby along the side of each locker that pops out for more space.
