The ACC released its conference championship hosting sites this week, and the conference’s baseball and wrestling championships will both take place in Durham.
Duke baseball fans already knew the ACC Baseball Tournament would return to the Durham Bulls stadium, and the Blue Devils will defend their title after this year’s run through the conference bracket.
However, the wrestling announcement is news to Blue Devils fans. According to the release, the best wrestlers in the ACC will gather in Durham on March 9.
The ACC got larger this summer with California, Stanford, and SMU joining the conference. Conference leadership already announced some tweaks to postseason formats, such as only 15 of the 17 teams qualifying for the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments.
