The Arizona Cardinals now have three players on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Receiver Andy Isabella landed on it last week. Guard Justin Pugh was added this week.
The latest is defensive tackle Jordan Phillips. The team did not announced it, but the NFL transaction list show he was added to the list.
Phillips himself revealed on Twitter that, despite being fully vaccinated, he tested positive for the virus.
Phillips has done little in training camp this year. He suffered some undisclosed injury and has not practiced in some time. This comes after he landed on injured reserve twice last season for a hamstring. However, he did participate in practices in OTAs and minicamp in June.
All three players on the list for the Cardinals all have tested positive.
The Cardinals can make a corresponding move to add a player to the roster, but with a game Friday, it seems unlikely they would do that before the weekend.
