Drew Lock throws 3 TDs in Broncos’ 38-24 win over Texans

Broncos quarterback Drew Lock led the team to a big road win against the Texans in Week 14.

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock threw for 309 yards and tossed three touchdown passes in a 38-24 road win over the Houston Texans in Week 14. Lock also threw one interception, finishing the day with a 136.0 passer rating.

Lock has now won both of his first two starts in the NFL. With the win, Denver improved to 5-8 on the year. Houston dropped to 8-5.

Lock threw touchdown passes running back Royce Freeman and tight ends Noah Fant and Jeff Heuerman. Running back Phillip Lindsay added another score on the ground and safety Kareem Jackson scored on a fumble return.

Fant had a huge game, catching four passes for 113 yards and a touchdown, but he had to leave the contest with a foot injury.

Up next for Denver is another road game in Week 15. Next week, the Broncos will face the AFC West-leading Kansas City Chiefs, who will take on the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon.
