Drew Lock says Broncos players feel safe at team’s facility

Broncos quarterback Drew Lock says he feels safe at the team’s facility.

The Denver Broncos have taken plenty of precautions in an effort to keep players safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. During a Zoom conference call with reporters on July 31, quarterback Drew Lock praised the team’s safety protocols.

“This facility is extremely different from what it was last year,” Lock said. “You don’t even get to come into the building, like I said, until you get COVID tested. Everything’s spread out, and then you get COVID tested. We have the tracers where it will start beeping if you’re within six feet of someone just to limit the certain amount of time that you’re around someone.

“As far as sanitation goes, you can’t turn corners without hand sanitizer being there. They spray everything down once you leave the room. They smoke it out when everyone leaves.”

Lock even declared that he feels safer at the team’s facility than he does outside the building. “I really feel like the Broncos and this organization are doing a great job,” he concluded.
