Drew Lock not worried about PFF ranking him as NFL’s worst starting QB

PFF ranked Drew Lock as the worst starting quarterback in the NFL.

Last week, Pro Football Focus caused a stir in Broncos Country when the website ranked Drew Lock as the worst starting quarterback in the NFL.

Last week, the Broncos’ second-year quarterback was asked about being ranked No. 32 by PFF. Lock clearly isn’t worried about the low rank.

“Well the first one, I wouldn’t have know about it unless you brought it up,” Lock said. “I try to stay out of the situations that don’t involve anything that’s in this locker room, coached and with this team.

“I’m not sure who wrote it, but their opinion is their opinion, and quite honestly, it’s not going to affect me going out to practice and playing this weekend. I’m going to leave it at that.”

Lock went 4-1 as a starter last season, completing 64.1 percent of his passes with seven touchdowns against three interceptions. If he can help Denver return to the playoffs this year, he’ll undoubtedly rise in PFF’s rankings.
