Cris Collinsworth has been calling Sunday Night Football games for years now.
Part of the tradition in him calling games is him sliding into the broadcast after being introduced by the play-by-play host. He just comes into the broadcast so smoothly. It’s pretty awesome. He’s mastered it through the years.
Yet, here Drew Brees is in what is essentially his rookie season in the broadcast booth calling the games and he has the slide down to a science already.
On the Thursday Night Football Thanksgiving game, Brees slid into the broadcast booth just like Collinsworth. It was spectacular. Just great work.
That's a veteran slide. 😂 @DrewBrees pic.twitter.com/i5MmYPiivh

Even Cris Collinsworth had to give it up for Brees.
C’mon Drew. Don’t make it look so easy. https://t.co/5S3jsqjlWB

And Brees called a pretty solid game, too, although the Saints didn’t really make it interesting.
Collinsworth better watch out, man. The new guy is pretty good.
