Draymond Green reacts to vicious knockout from Gervonta “Tank” Davis vs. Léo Santa Cruz

After Gervonta “Tank” Davis knocked Léo Santa Cruz out with a vicious uppercut punch, Warriors forward Draymond Green chimed in on Twitter.

After Draymond Green watched his Michigan State Spartans upset the Michigan Wolverines on the college football schedule, the Golden State Warriors forward turned his attention to boxing.

With the WBA Super Featherweight and Lightweight titles on the line, Geronta “Tank” Davis and Léo Santa Cruz squared off in the Showtime boxing main event.

After a couple of tight rounds to open the bout, Davis landed a vicious punch to end the fight in impressive fashion. With 2:40 remaining in the 6th round, the 25-year-old southpaw blasted his opponent with a buckling uppercut that put Santa Cruz on the mat.

Following the knockout, Green chimed in on Twitter with his reaction. The three-time NBA All-Star forward had a simple two-word message after the electric performance from Davis.

Following his victory, the Baltimore product’s record moved to a perfect 24-0 with 23 knockouts. Davis now holds the belts in the WBA’s Lightweight (130–135 lbs) and Super Featherweight (126–130 lbs) divisions. As for Santa Cruz, the 32-year-old saw his record fall to 37-2-1.
