The final four of the 2023 NBA playoffs are set, and fans should have two exciting and competitive conference final series to enjoy over the next couple of weeks.
The matchups are the same as they were inside the Walt Disney World Resort bubble in 2020. The Boston Celtics will play the Miami Heat in the East, while the Western Conference finals will pit the Los Angeles Lakers against the Denver Nuggets.
The Lakers reached this point by dispatching the defending world champion Golden State Warriors in the second round. Even though Draymond Green was a thorn in L.A.’s side at times, he believes the team will have its way with the Nuggets and advance to the NBA Finals (h/t Lakers Daily).

The Lakers have been a revelation since the cluster of midseason trades that remodeled the supporting cast around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Some still don’t believe in them, but they proved something significant against Green’s crew.
The stage could be set for the Purple and Gold to get past Nikola Jokic’s team and meet the Celtics to decide the world championship.
