Draymond Green has been suspended indefinitely by the NBA after hitting Jusuf Nurkić

Draymond Green has been indefinitely suspended after Wednesday night’s latest physical altercation.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been suspended indefinitely by the NBA, per multiple reports, after hitting Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the face on Tuesday night.

The Warriors star had just been suspended last month for five games after choking Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert before Wednesday’s decision. Green also notoriously struck former Warriors guard Jordan Poole during a Golden State practice session in October 2022.

Green is a repeat offender for engaging physically with opponents, and ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that part of Green’s indefinite suspension will involve a counseling plan to address the incidents.

Green, Warriors GM Mike Dunleavy Jr., and Green’s agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports are expected to meet Thursday to start discussing a path of counseling and help for Green to move forward,” Wojnarowski reported, quoting a source.

The league didn’t want to put a specific number on the suspension, but allow Green to take the time he might need to deal with challenges he’s facing.”

TNT NBA reporter Chris Haynes shared that Green will still be eligible to practice with the Warriors during his suspension, while NBA insider Shams Charania added that Green will have to meet certain criteria before he can return to the court.

The 10-13 Warriors are currently 11th in the Western Conference.
