The Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks faced off in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals, and the game had some bizarre moments.
Golden State’s bench had a massive comeback, so their second unit all had a significantly higher plus-minus than the starters. There was a massive leak in the roof, which caused a notable delay coming out of the first half. But most unexpected was what happened on this free throw from Draymond Green.
Green has taken nearly 2,000 in-game free throws during his NBA career thus far, but none of them look anything like what happened last night. Take a look for yourself:

Green missed the free throw, but what he did was more impressive than actually making it. Somehow, the ball bounced on the back of the rim over a dozen times, then is suddenly just … stopped.
This was so strange that it lightened the mood between both teams, and when looking at everyone’s reactions, Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic seemed to get the biggest kick out of it.
Doncic, however, wasn’t the only one who couldn’t believe what he saw. The reaction on NBA Twitter was about the same. Nobody had ever seen such a thing!
