The Warriors locked horns with Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night, but they did so without Draymond Green, who was a late scratch from the contest.
Green missed his 12th game of the season on Saturday night when Golden State broke its 10-game losing streak with a 109-95 victory over the Orlando Magic. A finger injury caused the absence before he was cleared to return to action in Monday night’s contest against the Trail Blazers, but he was a late scratch from the contest after succumbing to flu-like symptoms.
For Green, it was the 13th contest of the season he’s missed. Head coach Steve Kerr stuck with the same starting lineup from Saturday night’s contest, with D’Angelo Russell, Damion Lee, Alec Burks, Eric Paschall and Willie Cauley-Stein.
Draymond Green is questionable with flu-like symptoms. Kerr said Green will only play if “something drastic happens.” Golden State has just 8 players if Green doesn’t play.

Depending on how severe Green’s illness becomes, he may be available for Wednesday night’s contest against the Utah Jazz.
