Before the Golden State Warriors met the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals, Drake was a regular at Oakland’s Oracle Arena. Whether it was name-dropping Steph Curry on a song or being spotted on the team plane, Drake has been connected to the Warriors in the past.
Yet, the 2019 NBA Finals sparked a rivalry between Dub Nation and the OVO rapper.
However, it looks like Drake is back to keeping an eye on the Warriors.
After sharing he placed a significant bet on the Warriors to win the Western Conference before the start of the playoffs, the Canadian music mogul chimed in on social media again after Monday’s game two against the Denver Nuggets.
Drake shared a photo on his Instagram story of Jordan Poole in his postgame interview with the caption, “It’s a Poole party in GS.”

After dropping 30 points in his first career playoff game in game one, Poole picked up right he left off with 29 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the floor with five triples. With Poole alongside a red-hot Curry and Thompson, the Warriors stormed to a blowout victory to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
Could Poole be the next member of the Warriors to get a shoutout in a Drake song?
