Drake likes Rockets’ special talents in Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr.

Drake likes what he sees with Green, Porter and the rest of the Rockets’ youth movement.

Drake on Monday attended his first NBA game of the season after watching his Toronto Raptors host the Houston Rockets from courtside at Scotiabank Arena.

The Grammy-award-winning artist first embraced with several Raptors personnel, including Scottie Barnes and head coach Nick Nurse prior to the start of the game. He eventually made his way onto the Raptors’ broadcast on TSN.

Drake, who serves as a global ambassador for the Raptors, spoke with announcers Matt Devlin and Jack Armstrong on the broadcast and discussed a wide range of topics, including some of his conversations with Kawhi Leonard.

He also took a second to comment on the Rockets’ youth movement.

The Raptors dominated the Rockets with Drake in attendance, winning 107-92. Green finished the contest with five points, four rebounds and four assists while Porter had 12 points and Christopher registered eight points and five rebounds.

Houston certainly projects to have a bright future ahead with such a young and intriguing roster. While they may not have won, they should be an entertaining team to watch this season as Drake said.
