We’ve been over this before, and quite a few times: the Drake Curse — so many teams and athletes didn’t win stuff after the rapper publicly rooted for them — was supposed to be dead after the Toronto Raptors won an NBA title.
But then there’s him rooting for Lamar Jackson in 2020 and, well, maybe it’s still kind of a thing (I’m mostly, kidding, curses aren’t real … right?).
That brings us to a new team he’s rooting for: the Texas women’s hoops team that just took down No. 2 seed Maryland to reach the Elite Eight in the women’s NCAA tournament. And I can’t tell 100 percent, but seems like he might have put some money behind them?

Congrats, but hope the Drake Curse isn’t still a thing.
