The 2003-04 version of the Philadelphia 76ers was a disappointment all over. The team did not build off their semifinals appearance in the 2003 playoffs and the team was looking for some new blood to join star Allen Iverson.

With the 9th pick in the 2004 draft, they selected a bouncy wing player out of Arizona in Andre Iguodala. The versatile player had a lot of success in college and he was looking to replicate that with the Sixers.

In his rookie season, he immediately made an impact as he averaged 9.0 points and 5.7 rebounds while starting all 82 games plus the five games in the playoffs. He would go on to average 15.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in eight seasons with the Sixers, and he was named an All-Star in 2012.

Iguodala was then sent to the Denver Nuggets in the 2012 offseason as part of the awful Andrew Bynum deal and he has since been with the Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat. He won an NBA Finals MVP with the Warriors in 2015 and he won three titles with them while currently, he is in the 2020 Finals with the Heat. [lawrence-related id=38104,38098,38092]
