The Jaguars pulled off one of the biggest comebacks in NFL playoff history Saturday night, beating the Chargers 31-30 in an absolute thriller in Jacksonville.
One of the biggest reasons for the Jaguars’ huge turnaround this year is their head coach, Doug Pederson. The franchise made the right move by firing Urban Meyer (who is the worst coach in NFL history) before the end of last season and then quickly scooping up Pederson in the offseason.
He made some huge calls in the win over the Chargers, including going for two points after a late TD, which was helped by Joey Bosa’s really dumb penalty.
After the game Pederson delivered a great speech to his team that is definitely worth a watch:

This part was extremely powerful:
“I’m proud of you for this reason. You have faith in yourselves. You have faith in each other. You keep encouraging each other, like we talk about all the time. And you believe. Belief is about understanding that you can get it done, and then, it gets done. It just can’t happen, and then you have belief. That’s what faith is about, and you guys have it.”
So good.
Twitter loved it.
