Doug Pederson doesn’t believe Carson Wentz is broken and the Eagles head coach says his biggest goal is getting Philadelphia’s franchise quarterback back on track.
During his Wednesday zoom meeting, Pederson told the media that he believes Wentz can get back to being an “exceptional” quarterback and the head coach is hell-bent on getting the signal-caller back to “his old self.”
Doug Pederson on Wentz's ability to get back to old self: "I think Carson Wentz can be an exceptional quarterback in this league. He's proven that." Says they need to work with him to get him "back to the level of play that we all know he has shown us and he is capable of doing."

Wentz has been battered this season and leads the NFL in sacks and interceptions while accruing the worst QBR of his career.
Pederson can’t fix Wentz and bring Hurts back in 2021 and the dynamic between head coach and franchise quarterback could be permanently damaged.
