Doug Pederson says he respects Brett Favre’s opinion, but Carson Wentz is his guy

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson responded to Brett Favre’s comments about Carson Wentz by stating that the quarterback is his guy

Doug Pederson and Brett Favre have been friends for over 25 years, so it may have been awkward when his former Green Bay Packers teammate told ESPN’s First Take that the Eagles should have kept Super Bowl hero Nick Foles over current star, Carson Wentz.

During his Wednesday zoom meeting, Pederson was asked about Favre’s comments 3 times and he initially provided a vague response, simply stating that he respects the Hall of Famers’ opinion.

After being prodded several more times, Pederson finally broke down and made it clear that Wentz was ‘the Eagles guy’, end of the story.
