Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is addressing the media on Monday afternoon just hours after it was revealed that he tested positive for the coronavirus.
Pederson and passing game coordinator Press Taylor were both sent home and the Eagles head coach will have to have two negative tests before he can return to the team. During the zoom meeting, Pederson stated that he feels good, he feels energetic and that he’ll continue to run the Eagles virtually from home.
Pederson: "I can still run the team virtually. That's what I was able to do. …I also want to reiterate the fact that I'm very comfortable and confident that the protocols we have in place are for the best interest of the football team. …It still is a very safe environment."

Pederson went on to say that he’s quarantining away from his family, keeping distance, and wearing his mask, while Duce Staley runs the team at the NovaCare Complex.
