The Philadelphia Eagles could get one of their top weapons back, as Doug Pederson provided an update on Alshon Jeffery during his Friday morning press conference. On the status of Jeffery and wide receiver Nelson Agholor, Pederson said that both players “are progressing well” and sound like they’ll be active on Sunday.
Doug Pederson says #Eagles RT Lane Johnson is still in the concussion protocol. WRs Alshon Jeffery (ankle) & Nelson Agholor (knee) are “trending” in the right direction for Sunday.

Pederson referenced both his receivers needing to play on Sunday despite being “banged up.”
Jeffery has been working to return since injuring his ankle in the team’s win over the Chicago Bears. Agholor suffered a knee injury in the final minutes against the Patriots, and he’s yet to practice this week.
