The Eagles infused a ton of talent, speed, and athleticism into the wide receiver position but there most important asset on the outside seems to be getting healthy at the right time.
Alshon Jeffery quietly returned to Philadelphia for Eagles training camp and his arrival brought a smile to his head coach.

Doug Pederson knows the weapon he has in Jeffery and the Eagles head coach was giddy when discussing the wide receivers potential regular-season return.
“Alshon was obviously one of the guys, too, that came back early,” Pederson said. “He’s doing extremely well. Again, he’s in a really good spot. He’s going to continue to work and get himself ready. Obviously, I won’t — you know me, I don’t put timetables on players, but when he’s ready, he’s ready. He’ll be back out there on the field with us. I’m excited where he’s at, and even though yeah, we missed the spring and had this pandemic, he was still working and rehabbing and doing everything he could to get himself ready for the season.”
The last time Pederson addressed the media, Pederson said he expected Jeffery to have a vital role in the Eagles offense in 2020.
Jeffery had 43 catches for 490 yards and four touchdowns last season before going on injured reserve with a Lisfranc injury that threatens to have him on the PUP list to start the 2020 season.
