Carson Wentz got the monkey off his back perse, finally getting into the win column after leading the Eagles to a 25-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Wentz had moments where he again missed some throws, including his seventh interception of the game.
But he also had moments like his touchdown pass to Travis Fulgham, where he went full playground, only having run the play one prior time with the practice squad callup.
Ladies and gentlemen, his name is Travis Fulgham.#PHIvsSF | #FlyEaglesFly

Wentz was 18-of-28 for 193 yards with two touchdowns (one passing, one rushing) and an interception in the 25-20 win over the 49ers.
The stats won't blow you away, but Carson Wentz played really well and just looked like a different QB than the first 3 games.

He also rushed for 37 yards and kept several other plays alive with his legs, while leading his team to a come from behind win. Wentz played with fire, showing guts during an efficient performance that showed him play even keel while making the big plays when the Eagles needed them most.
