Despite having his roughest season since his debut in 2016, Doug Pederson is expected to return as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021 Ian Rapoport is reporting.
Pederson is expected to meet with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie to discuss the offseason and plans for the 2021 season per Adam Schefter, but Philadelphia appears set to run it back with the head coach and GM.
There will be one change to Pederson’s coaching staff, as defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is not expected to return in 2021.
In 79 career games with the Eagles as head coach, Pederson is 42-36-1.
Pederson led the Eagles to the playoffs in each of the previous three seasons, winning Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots.
