The USC Trojans have now lost another player to the transfer portal, this one being wide receiver Dorian Singer.
After just one year with the Trojans, Singer is entering the portal for the second year in a row, per Pete Nakos of On3.
Singer led the Pac-12 in receiving in 2022 with the Arizona Wildcats. He then headed for USC and was expected to get a giant workload. However, with plenty of other options on offense, Singer caught just 23 passes for 276 yards and three scores, a big decline from a 66-catch, 1,105-yard season with the Wildcats the year before.
Singer failed to record more than four catches in any game this past year. He had four games with just one reception as Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice emerged as the leading options for Caleb Williams on the receiving front.
The Trojans also added Jaden Washington from D3 Tufts in the transfer portal earlier this week. They also offered Oregon State receiver Silas Bolden, so they have already adjusted to Singer’s departure, which was expected.
