INDIANAPOLIS – Former Tennessee Volunteer Dominick Wood-Anderson had a productive day at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Ind., particularly in the vertical jump, where he finished in the top five among tight ends.
Top performers in the vertical jump among #NFLCombine tight ends:
1) Cole Kmet, @NDFootball, 37 inches
T-2) Stephen Sullivan, @LSUfootball, 36.5
T-2) Charlie Taumoepeau, @psuviksFB, 36.5
4) Josiah Deguara, @GoBearcatsFB, 35.5
5) Dom Wood-Anderson, @Vol_Football, 35— NFL Draft (@NFLDraft) February 27, 2020
A jump of 35.5 inches put him right behind former Cincinnati tight end Josiah Deguara.
Wood-Anderson also posted a 40 yard dash time of 4.92 seconds, and a broad jump of 119 inches. After coming to Knoxville as one of the highest-rated JUCO prospects in the country in the 2018 recruiting class, Wood-Anderson did not put up the numbers that may have been expected, but was a solid part of Tennessee’s offense for two seasons and a good blocking tight end.
Wood-Anderson caught 38 balls for 408 yards and three touchdowns over the span of two seasons at Tennessee.
