Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill fined $7,000 by the NFL

The Cheetah gets a hefty fine from the NFL.

While the Miami Dolphins had a record day against the Denver Broncos in Week 3, wide receiver Tyreek Hill took a monetary hit from the contest.

Hill recently told the Palm Beach Post that he had been fined $7,000 by the NFL for a uniform violation during the team’s 70-20 victory over Sean Payton’s team.

“I got fined, though, for my socks,” Hill said. “Yeah, I got fined for my socks. So in the Broncos game, the first touchdown, I didn’t have any socks on at all.” But I was getting an IV and I didn’t want to be late for the play. So I didn’t have time to put on my socks.”

Hill said that he’s appealing the fine and hopes to get it reduced.
