While the Miami Dolphins are preparing for their home opener against the Denver Broncos in Week 3, they’ll be without one of their top players.
On Saturday, the Dolphins ruled wide receiver Jaylen Waddle out for the contest, as he’s still in concussion protocol.
Waddle has been one of the league’s most productive receivers since he was drafted in the first round out of Alabama in 2021. In his two games this season, the former Crimson Tide wideout has recorded eight receptions for 164 yards.
Miami has elevated veteran Robbie Chosen from the practice squad to help fill in for Waddle this week. The Dolphins will also have Tyreek Hill, Braxton Berrios, River Cracraft, Erik Ezukanma and Cedrick Wilson Jr. to call upon on the 53-man roster.
