The Miami Dolphins’ regular season finale against the New York Jets is scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday with television coverage provided by FOX, the NFL announced.
With a 20-3 win against the Cleveland Browns, the Dolphins’ postseason hopes are still alive heading into the last weekend of the regular season. Miami needs a win against the Jets coupled with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the Denver Broncos to get the last wild card berth in the AFC.
The Chiefs vs. Broncos matchup also has a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.
In a Week 14 home game against the Jets, the Dolphins needed overtime to get a 32-26 win. On Sunday, New York lost 40-14 to the Buffalo Bills to drop to 4-12 on the year.
The Chiefs squeaked out a 16-14 win against the Broncos back in Week 10, thanks to a blocked field goal in the final seconds of the game. Kansas City is expected to sit many of its starters, including Patrick Mahomes, after clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC on Christmas.
