The Miami Dolphins will have all hands on deck for the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis at the end of the month. It serves as one of the pillars of the NFL Draft process — the entire league descends upon the cold, blustery streets of Indy to interview, poke, prod and work out the best prospects that college football has to offer.
But THE Scouting Combine isn’t the only scouting combine. The news has broke that the NFL’s invitational regional combine will be hosted in Miami this year at the Dolphins’ Baptist Health Training facility in late March. And while the talent at this event won’t necessarily be to the same quality as the one in Indianapolis, the Dolphins staffers can still be all hands on deck.
The invitational regional combine is designed to offer showcases for international talents, small schoolers and players from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in front of NFL personnel.
The event will be held from March 27th through the 29th, nearly a full month after the events in Indianapolis.
