Dolphins rule out RG Robert Hunt vs. Chiefs

Miami will be without another key starter on their offensive line in Week 9.

The Miami Dolphins’ offensive line has been ravaged by injuries this season.

Left tackle Terron Armstead and left guard Isaiah Wynn are on injured reserve, and Connor Williams has missed four of the team’s last five contests.

Now, after leaving last Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots due to a hamstring injury, right guard Robert Hunt has been ruled out for this week’s battle with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to head coach Mike McDaniel.

Hunt and Wynn will both be out, with Lester Cotton and Robert Jones filling in for them, respectively. Armstead and Williams still could go, but McDaniel has yet to determine whether or not they’ll rest or play.

With Kansas City’s tough defensive front, Miami may struggle to move the ball on the ground again in Week 9, as they did against the Philadelphia Eagles just two weeks ago. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will also be forced to get rid of the ball even quicker than normal.
