Dolphins injury update: Elandon Roberts, Jaelan Phillips fully participate

No new injuries for Miami on Thursday.

After another walk-through on Wednesday, the Miami Dolphins held their first full practice of the week as they prepared for their Week 8 battle with the Buffalo Bills on the road.

Between the two days, the only changes made to the injury report were the upgrades in the statuses of linebackers Elandon Roberts (shoulder) and Jaelan Phillips (ankle) who went from limited to full participants on Thursday.

Other full participants on Wednesday included quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (ribs), quarterback Jacoby Brissett (hamstring), and defensive tackle Zach Sieler (ribs).

Seven players remained limited including linebacker Jerome Baker (knee), cornerback Xavien Howard (shoulder/groin), cornerback Byron Jones (Achilles/groin), cornerback Noah Igbinoghene (knee/ankle), safety Brandon Jones (ankle), center Greg Mancz (groin), and wide receiver DeVante Parker (shoulder/hamstring).

Howard and Jones both played every snap last week, so they’ll likely see similar roles again on Sunday. The biggest questions will be Baker and Parker. Parker missed the last three weeks with his injury, and Baker left Week 7 in the first quarter with an injury that looked much worse than it ended up being.

If all four of these guys can play, the Dolphins have a much better chance in this contest.
