Dolphins injury update: 12 players listed on Wednesday’s report

Three players got veteran rest days.

The Miami Dolphins held their first practice of the week on Wednesday, as they prepare for their Week 13 matchup with the New York Giants.

At practice, 12 players were listed with varying levels of activity, however, only offensive tackle Jesse Davis (veteran rest) and cornerback Trill Williams (hamstring) did not participate.

Seven players were limited at practice, including cornerback Xavien Howard (veteran rest), cornerback Byron Jones (veteran rest), guard Robert Hunt (back), safety Brandon Jones (ankle/elbow), running back Phillip Lindsay (ankle), linebacker Jaelan Phillips (hip), and tight end Adam Shaheen (knee).

Shaheen seems to be improving after not participating throughout last week, and Brandon Jones’ injury is still a bit concerning considering he missed the game against the Panthers. Hunt, Lindsay, and Phllips’ injuries are all new and will be worth watching throughout the week.

Safety Jevon Holland (ankle), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (glute), and wide receiver Preston Williams (knee) were all listed as full participants with Waddle’s injury being the only new one.
