Dolphins have the third-easiest remaining schedule, according to ESPN’s FPI

The road is easy for the Dolphins.

With six weeks done in the NFL season, the Miami Dolphins find themselves at 1-5 with another 11 games ahead of them.

Their team has been one of the worst in the league, earning a -3.8 on ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI). This places Miami 26th out of 32 teams, just one above their Week 7 opponent, the Atlanta Falcons.

Luckily for Miami, according to the very same metric, the Dolphins have the third-easiest strength of schedule the rest of the way. Only the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills will have easier contests down the stretch.

The Dolphins will need to work to turn this season around from a disaster because the season isn’t completely over. Every coach and every player will have to take advantage of this opportunity and beat the teams they are expected to and steal wins from some that they aren’t.

It all starts Sunday against Atlanta, so they better be ready.
