Dolphins are re-signing WR Preston Williams

The Dolphins are bringing back another one of their own.

The Miami Dolphins have started off the second day of the league’s legal tampering period by re-signing LB Duke Riley to a one-year deal.

Now, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Dolphins are keeping another one of their free agents, as they’ve agreed to a one-year deal with wide receiver Preston Williams. The wideout, who was a restricted free agent set to hit the market at the start of the new league year, can make up to $1.99 million next year.

Williams, 24, played in just eight games in 2021, recording six receptions for 71 yards. He has yet to play in more than eight games in his three-year career.
