Dolphins agree to three-year contract with WR Cedrick Wilson Jr.

The Dolphins look to be adding a wide receiver.

The Miami Dolphins have looked to address some of their offensive needs on the first day of the legal tampering period, as they agreed to a deal with running back Chase Edmonds earlier in the day.

Now, according to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones, the Dolphins plan to sign wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. to a three-year deal. ESPN’s Adam Schefter added that the deal is worth $22.8 million with $12.75 million guaranteed.

Wilson, 26, spent the first three seasons of his career with the Dallas Cowboys where he totaled 837 yards and eight touchdowns on 67 receptions. Wilson also has some experience with punt returns which could be useful for the Dolphins.
