Christian Pulisic and Alexa Melton may not be an official couple, but the pro golfer is willing to admit the pair are in their “soft launch” phase.
Melton drew plenty of attention with an Instagram post over the weekend in which she commemorated her first U.S. Women’s Open. Among a carousel of 10 photos was one with Melton and the U.S. men’s national team star.
The tournament took place in Lancaster, Pennsylvania — a short drive from Pulisic’s hometown of Hershey, where he was doing promotional work last week.
In the comments on Melton’s post, fellow golfer Briana Chacon said: “Hard launch,” to which Melton replied: “I’m classifying this as a soft launch.”

A few days after Melton’s post, Pulisic similarly posted a carousel of photos that included one of the pair together on the golf course.

Melton, 23, is currently in her second season on the Epson Tour, previously known as the LPGA Futures Tour. The California native turned pro in 2023 after playing collegiately at Pepperdine and the University of Southern California.
The romance rumors between Melton and Pulisic continued an active period of off-field news for some of the USMNT’s biggest stars.
