DK Metcalf says he feels fine following rib injury vs. Detroit

It seems the Seahawks dodged a bullet, injury wise

Injuries have been a major storyline for the Seattle Seahawks early this season. Having already lost Abe Lucas for a few weeks, and Charles Cross being week-to-week, the medical report is already stacking up for Seattle. Fortunately, it appears the Seahawks dodged a potentially devastating bullet.

On Sunday against the Detroit Lions, wide receiver DK Metcalf took a heavy blow at the goal line, which caused him to briefly exit the game. Metcalf did return and make crucial catches late, but questions were obviously going to linger related to his health.

The good news is the Seahawks star sems to be doing well.

Although the defense showed signs of improvement last week, this unit certainly is not the Legion of Boom. If the Seahawks want to win games, their best shot is with their offense – specifically the passing attack. They will need Metcalf to help round out one of the deepest wide receiver corps in the league.
