With Big Ten Media Day(s) underway in Indianapolis, the conference made a fun announcement. Discover has renewed its sponsorship with the conference, and will now become the first-ever title sponsor for the Big Ten title game.
Discover previously was the presenting sponsor since 2017. Jennifer Murillo, Chief Marketing Officer at Discover had this to say about the sponsorship:
“Our sponsorship renewal maintains Discover as the official credit card of the Big Ten Conference and we will further extend the strong relationships we have forged with Big Ten students, student-athletes, fans and alumni since 2017; it also gives us the opportunity to grow alongside the Big Ten Conference as it expands its national footprint. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the Big Ten and building Discover’s presence with its many conference platforms.”
The 2024 Discover Big Ten College Football Championship Game will take place on December 7th in Indianapolis. The game will be on CBS at 5 pm PST. In 2025 the game will be on FOX and in 2026 NBC will air the game.
The first game for a Big Ten team in 2024 is Thursday, August 29th, 2024 as Howard is at Rutgers. The first conference game is on Saturday, September 7th 2024. That game will feature Michigan State at Maryland.
