Dillon Brooks still feels LeBron James is old

Dillon Brooks hasn’t backed down from the shade he has thrown at LeBron James.

Ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers’ contest against the Houston Rockets on Sunday, Dillon Brooks was at it again.

As a member of the Memphis Grizzlies last season, he called LeBron James old after the Grizzlies tied their first-round playoff series against the Lakers with a Game 2 win. In the following game, he hit James below the belt and was ejected as a result.

The forward said he was ready to lock up the NBA’s all-time leading scorer before Houston blew out James’ squad nearly two weeks ago. Now, he has dug in on his comment from last spring (h/t Lakers Daily).

Via Fox Sports:

“No, I still feel the same way,” Brooks told Fox Sports on Friday.

Brooks is off to a good start this season, shooting 53.6% from the field and 50% from 3-point range. The Rockets had a six-game winning streak until Friday when the Los Angeles Clippers stunned them by handing them a 106-100 loss.

The Lakers could really use a win on Sunday in order to start building some real momentum after a poor start to the season.
