Different seeds, same opponent for Tigers in latest CBS Sports and ESPN bracketology projections

ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has the Tigers as a No. 6 seed, while CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm has them on the seven-seed line. Both, however, have them drawing Wyoming.

CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm has been a bit lower on the Tigers than Lunardi, and that doesn’t change in the latest update to his bracketology. He has LSU as a No. 7 seed instead, but he also has it playing in the Midwest Region against Wyoming, who he has as a No. 10 seed.

Like the East Region in Lunardi’s projection, Palm has the Midwest loaded with SEC teams, as the Tigers are joined by No. 1-seeded Auburn and No. 5-seeded Alabama.

SEC Teams:

  • No. 1 Auburn (Midwest)
  • No. 2 Kentucky (West)
  • No. 4 Tennessee (East)
  • No. 4 Arkansas (South)
  • No. 5 Alabama (Midwest)
  • No. 7 LSU (Midwest)
  • No. 11 Florida (East, Last Four In)
