The Texas Longhorns are growing as the season progresses. Saturday’s road win over the No. 13 Kansas State Wildcats confirmed that this Longhorns team is not the same.
Texas frustrated its fanbase in Saturday’s 34-27 win over Kansas State. Some of the same issues to a certain degree plagued the team. The two easiest issues to identify were the stagnant second half offense and the inability to recover fumbles.
Texas forced three fumbles on Saturday. They were only able to recover one. In addition, the Longhorns offense put up only three second half points. Despite not cashing in on opportunities, Sarkisian and company looked noticeably improved, even if the changes they made were small improvements.
