Although most believe he will not actually follow through with it, LeBron James suggested a week ago that he’s considering retirement this offseason.
Apparently, the weight of carrying a sub-.500 Los Angeles Lakers team into the playoffs and all the way to the Western Conference finals despite tearing a tendon in his foot has been weighing on him.
Is James really going to consider retirement? Or is this his usual passive-aggressive behavior that is intended to pressure his team into making a big move for someone such as Kyrie Irving?
The 38-year-old once again made a cryptic statement, this time on Instagram, that some claim is another suggestion that he may be about to call it quits.
